Arkona helps deliver deals on wheels. The company develops business management software that auto dealers use to track accounting, financing, parts, payroll, and other dealership functions. Recreational vehicle and marine craft dealers also license its software, and the company is expanding into sport vehicle markets such as motorcycles and snowmobiles. Arkona's Dealer Management System (ADMS) is offered as a managed service, which reduces the infrastructure and maintenance requirements for participating dealerships. Other products include programmable cards that dealerships can use to offer customer incentives, credits, and discounts. Arkona was acquired by DealerTrack Holdings in 2007 for $59 million.
