Company Description

The company, one of China's largest auto parts manufacturers, makes universal joints, CV joints, bearings, brake discs, batteries, and other car parts. Wanxiang's products, under the brand name Qianchao, or QC, are distributed to about 40 countries through subsidiary Wanxiang Qianchao. The company's other subsidiaries are involved in aquaculture (eels and snakes), agricultural engineering, bridge and road construction, hotel management, financial services, and power plant construction. Its America-China Bridge program helps US companies do business in China. President Guanqiu Lu founded the company in the 1960s as a bicycle repair shop.
