Overview
The Defence Support Group (DSG) was formed in the 2008 merger of ABRO (Army Base Repair Organization) with DARA (Defence Aviation Repair Agency). A trading fund of the UK's Ministry of Defence (MoD), DSG offers engineering, repair, and remanufacturing services to government agencies, including the British Army, the Royal Air Force, and police departments. Whether the need is armored vehicle repair or routine servicing of an army hospital X-ray machine, DSG is where the MoD turns for help. Other areas of expertise include armor and artillery engineering support, calibration equipment support, engine and transmission testing, fleet management, and weapons systems support.
